Alfonso

Hospital Manager

Alfonso is our Hospital Manager and Head Vet Assistant. He has been working in the veterinary field for over 16 years and has been with us since 2004. Alfonso, his wife Monica, and two daughters, Alexa and Mia, have a poodle at home named Milo. Aside from spending time with his family, Alfonso also enjoys cars, model airplanes and playing futbol/soccer.

Alli

Client Services

Alli has a long history of working with animals, starting at the Westlake Pet Motel in 2002. She joined our team in 2010 and we love having her help out! Alli has a dog, Pedro, kitty, Tuesday and a red eared slider named Filbert. She enjoys camping, spending time with family and her fiance Jeff and watching HBO.

Carol

Veterinary Assistant

Carol joined our team in 2004. When not assisting the doctors, she is often cuddling and loving the animals in the hospital. She has two cats of her own at home, Jasper and Eric, whom she shares with her husband Tom and son Christopher. She loves bicycle riding and listening to classic rock music, such as ACDC and Aerosmith.

Courtney

Office Manager

Courtney is the Office Manager here at Arroyo Vista Veterinary Hospital. She has been with us since shortly after we opened in 2004. Courtney loves spending time with her 2 Chihuahua mix dogs (Teddy and Penny), two cats (Dolly Parton & Frisco), her family and her boyfriend Brian and listening to Lady Gaga an Pink Floyd.

Jackie

Client Services

Jackie is a former volunteer from the Health and Science Academy at Moorpark High School, and started working here at Arroyo Vista Veterinary Hospital in 2011. She has a German shepherd name Smokey; 3 Shih Tzu’s, Cookie, Peewee and Popeye; and her cats, Mika and Maxine at home. She is currently attending California Lutheran University.

Jennifer

Veterinary Assistant

Jennifer has been actively involved in taking care of animals from the age of 15, when she joined FFA. On top of already extensive knowledge of exotic animal care, she has broadened her knowledge to include dogs, cats and pocket pets upon joining our team in 2007. When not working or playing with her cat, Ebony, Jen can usually be found at the zoo or all dressed up at a comic book convention.

Juan

Veterinary Assistant

Juan is a former Moorpark High school HSA volunteer who made the switch to official employee in 2015. Juan is currently studying at Moorpark College and hopes to one day be  a Radiologist. He loves animals and has 2 dogs of his own, two Pitbulls named Hazel & Chance.

Kelly

Client Services

Kelly joined our team in 2011 and brought along with her over 6 years of experience in the veterinary field. She has many of her own pets at home including cats, dogs and birds. When she’s not in the clinic, Kelly can often be found watching movies, doing arts and crafts or studying the Bible.

Mary

Bookkeeper

Mary has been with Arroyo Vista Veterinary Hospital since we opened in 2004. She has over 20 years of management experience. Mary has a daughter who is studying at Oregon State University and she is actively involved in local and national politics. She is also the proud owner of 5 dogs!

Randy

Veterinary Assistant

While just recently officially joining our team, Randy has been volunteering at our office since a young age. Randy has a full house of animals of his own including three dogs (Furgie, Rocky & Summer), three cats (Mufasa, Tater & Pike) and three turtles (Gubbady, Flash &Sunny)! He is also an avid Football fan who loves the Green Bay Packers.

Stuart

Veterinary Assistant

Stuart was an original member of the Arroyo Vista family when we first opened in 2004. After leaving for a few years, he returned to us in 2016 and it was like he never left! Stuart has worked in the veterinary field for almost 30 years. He and his son, Jake, share their home with their collie, Callie.

Virginia

Client Services

Virginia joined our team in 2007. She has a background of working with animals that goes back over 12 years. Virginia works closely with all types of animals – dogs, cats, goats, horses and more! When not spending time with our patients, Virginia enjoys spending time with her children and pets (3 cats, 3 dogs and a Welsh pony), as well as playing or watching sports.
